Car dealer charged after alleged gun attack in St James

A 27-year-old car dealer from St James, has been charged following an alleged gun attack on a woman in his community last month.

 

He is 27-year-old Adeno McIntosh, otherwise called ‘Baba’, from Latium district in the community of Lottery.

 

Reports from the Montego Bay police are that about 1 p.m. on November 2, McIntosh allegedly brandished a firearm and opened gunfire at a woman with whom he had an argument.

 

The woman escaped unharmed, raised an alarm and was assisted by relatives.

 

McIntosh reportedly fled the scene.

 

He was later taken into custody during an operation on November 28.

 

He has since been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to injure, discharge of a firearm in any place, using a firearm to commit a felony, and shooting with intent.
