Deadly Afternoon Crash Claims Life of St Elizabeth Farmer

A St Elizabeth farmer died from injuries he sustained in a serious three-vehicle collision along the Holt Main Road in Santa Cruz on Tuesday afternoon.

 

The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Hayne Foster, a farmer of Park District in the parish.

 

Reports reaching McKoy’s News are that about 1:50 p.m., Foster was driving a Champion CG motorcycle along the roadway when he became involved in a collision with a Toyota Fielder and a Toyota Voxy.

 

The impact left all three vehicles heavily damaged. Foster sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the Mandeville Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

 

The Santa Cruz Traffic Department has since launched an investigation into the fatal crash.
